Vision & Priorities for Mali

Maliyéanbêdetayé’s vision for Mali is based on the following priorities:

– the voice of all the people of Mali
– outstanding governance
– unity of the country
– security
– education and training

Those points are to us the pre-requisites to the achievement of any other ambitions or objectives that we may have for the country, such as economic development and revenue increase for each Malian, better health care for all, more dynamic civic and political involvement with real controls and accountability of the leaders as well as effective balance of power, better social and public services, better infrastructures, a fair justice system, etc.

The reason for this is that  what makes Mali is primarily its people and its land. As a consequence, we cannot make any progress without investing in each Malian from the earliest age. Likewise, we must immediately, and on a long-term basis, ensure that the Mali territory remains whole and that the people of Mali, wherever they are, take part in the peaceful building of the country.
