The Movement

Habib Dembélé has always endeavoured to give back to the Malians and contribute to social peace and unity, as he is convinced that, without its people, Mali would be nothing. Today, the harmony of the Malian society is going through unprecedented challenges, but, so far, the people of Mali have shown tremendous resistance. Their vigorous yet peaceful reactions despite their limited means have been impressive.

In light of such courage, dignity and sense of duty, Habib Dembélé, has decided to follow the example of his people and fully dedicate himself to more efficiently carrying the voice of his people and encouraging each citizen, whatever his/her location or social background, to get involved in Malian public affairs - because Mali belongs to all the Malians and it is central that the people of Mali and their aspirations are duly represented in Government.

This is how Maliyéanbêdetayé was born.

WITH THIS MOVEMENT, HABIB DEMBELE:

COMMITS to endeavour to ensure that the hard work of the Mali people is relayed and reflected at Government level;

COMMITS to endeavour to rekindle in every Malian citizen the feeling of belonging to one single nation, Mali;

COMMITS to endeavour to promote the respect, honour, and dignity of each person living in Mali and to restore and promote freedom and fundamental individuals’ rights;

COMMITS to endeavour to stop the unfair social selection of favouring a minority at the expense of the overwhelming majority - this implies giving equal opportunities for all Malians;

COMMITS to endeavour to guarantee national unity and the safety of the people of Mali;

COMMITS to endeavour to allow all Malians to work to build their country and to be the first to reap the rewards of their contribution;

COMMITS to endeavour to promote the intellectual, material and social well-being of the Mali people;

COMMITS to endeavour to reignite, in each Malian, the love of Mali.
